Six-Gun® Diesel Tuner
Banks has created a unique 2-inch-diameter gauge-mount Six-Gun Diesel Tuner for ’99-03 7.3L Ford Power Strokes. An all-in-one tuner and control panel, Banks Six-Gun Tuner combines power features with a flexible user interface. The “Pod” adds best gains up to +62 hp and +163 lb-ft at the rear wheels, which is up to 51% more horsepower and torque than stock! Six-Gun works alone or stacks with any chip, including Banks Big Hoss and OttoMind, and offers six levels of power adjustable on-the-fly at the push of a button. Critical engine functions (EGT, Boost, Percent of Fuel Increase, and Self-Diagnostics) are displayed in real-time, and the user can choose which to display.
Of course, Banks didn’t forget to build-in safety features. ActiveSafety displays diagnostic fault messages and flashes when the temperature limit is approaching. The exclusive mission-critical safety-circuit design ensures that Six-Gun electronics will in no way impact the durability or function of the onboard Power Stroke electronics. The software monitors and diagnoses itself to ensure proper function, and the self-monitoring hardware provides automatic bypass should a malfunction ever occur. Optional AutoRate automatically limits fuel delivery based on the user-selected maximum EGT, from 800-1500° F in 50° increments.
